Romans 13:1-2 ~ The Christian's Responsibility to the Government ~ Pastor Bill Slabaugh

From Romans chapter 13, we learn that there are only two legitimate biblical reasons for Christians to disobey the governing authorities: 1) They command you to do something that is in disobedience to God’s Word,  2)  They try to prevent you from obeying God’s Word.

So how do we apply these principles in a Covid-19 world devastated by a pandemic and where we are required to follow strict governmental guidelines? What is the Christian’s responsibility to the government?
