According to recent surveys, fewer than half (46%) of Protestants agree with the Protestant Reformation that faith alone is needed to get into Heaven. 72% of people surveyed believe that it is possible for someone to earn their way into Heaven by their good behavior. Sadly, most Americans disagree with Romans 4:5, "But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness."

Romans 3:28 says, "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law." The sad thing is that most American's who say they believe in God, don't believe what Romans 8:28 teaches. Human nature likes to think that we have something to do with our salvation and being in right standing with God. But it's not a Law of Works, but a Law of Faith.

We are very much aware that Jesus died on the cross for men, for sinners. We are much less aware that Jesus also died on the cross for God, for the sake of God. How exactly was God satisfied with the death of Christ? That is the message of Romans 3:23-26 and the Glorious Gospel.
